Huntington Beach residents will soon see a new gelato option at Bella Terra: the Italian chain Bacio di Latte has listed a Huntington Beach address at 7821 Edinger Ave., Suite 134, though the company has not shared an official opening date.
The brand, founded in 2011 by Italian brothers Edoardo and Luigi Tonolli, is known for handmade Italian-style gelato made daily. The company’s website lists the Bella Terra location, signaling the chain’s further expansion across Southern California.
What to expect at the new shop
Based on the chain’s other Southern California locations, customers can likely expect a rotating lineup of classic and seasonal flavors, along with gelato-based desserts. Bacio di Latte’s known offerings include Pistachio, Belgian Chocolate, Cookie Butter and Stracciatella, plus specialty items such as cakes, affogatos and milkshakes.

Local context and impact
Bella Terra, a major retail and dining hub in central Huntington Beach, has seen steady tenant turnover and additions in recent years. A Bacio di Latte outpost may boost foot traffic for neighboring retailers and add another dessert destination for residents and visitors. The chain already operates multiple Southern California locations, including shopping centers and lifestyle malls, which may influence the store’s hours and menu at the Bella Terra shop.
City residents interested in the new shop should watch the company’s website and Bella Terra communications for a confirmed opening date. Until an announcement is posted, the address listing on Bacio di Latte’s site is the only public confirmation of the coming Huntington Beach location.
