SPARKS, Nev. — Bitdeer Technologies Group has established a 187,000‑square‑foot industrial facility at Logisticenter at Kiley Ranch in Sparks, company executives said, part of what they described as a multi‑billion dollar expansion of U.S. operations.
Facility, products and strategic aims
According to Bitdeer leaders, the new site will manufacture the company’s Sealminer application‑specific integrated circuit (ASIC) Bitcoin mining compute devices and produce high‑performance infrastructure used in artificial intelligence compute workloads. Executives said the Sparks operation is intended to shorten the distance between engineering and production by creating a western U.S. footprint close to the company’s United States headquarters and research‑and‑development hub in San Jose.
“Our stake in the United States is very important to our growth,” Bitdeer Chairman Paul Hanson said during a tour of the new operations in Northern Nevada.
Catherine Guo, chief executive officer of Bitdeer Industrial, noted that having a western region site simplifies travel for executives flying into San Francisco International Airport and makes it easier to bring R&D work into production.
Investment scale and background
Company officials characterized the Sparks building as the start of a broad U.S. investment plan. They described a planned $17 billion in capital investment in the United States over the next four years and said the local facility was reported at approximately $36 million. Bitdeer representatives also said the firm has invested more than $600 million in the U.S. since 2017 under a prior corporate entity.

Local and policy context
Executives framed the move as aligning with broader efforts to onshore advanced manufacturing. Hanson said bringing high‑tech production to the U.S. allows tighter control of delivery and supply chains and positions the company to be less reliant on external production channels.
Bitdeer’s global headquarters is in Singapore, and the company’s U.S. leaders emphasized proximity to California engineering teams as a practical benefit for rapid iteration between design and manufacturing. The new Sparks location, company officials said, will help the firm be “vertically integrated” and speed development and delivery timelines for its products.
This expansion adds to Northern Nevada’s profile as a site for data center and high‑performance computing activity. Company officials described the Sparks facility as the beginning of their western U.S. footprint, with the goal of bringing engineering, R&D and production cycles closer together.
Additional operational details — including employment figures, start of full production and a timeline for the wider investment program — were not disclosed in the company statements provided during the site tour.
