DOVER — Delaware Sports Lottery players now have a new way to place wagers across the state after the Delaware Lottery completed a rollout of self-service sports wagering kiosks Monday. The machines are live at all 89 Sports Lottery retailers and at the state's three casinos: Delaware Park Casino, Bally's Dover and Harrington Raceway & Casino.

What the kiosks do and where they are

The kiosks, provided in partnership with Scientific Games and operating with odds and betting options from Caesars Sportsbook, let customers make a wider array of bets than were previously available through clerk-assisted transactions. Among the expanded options are prop bets, Same Game Parlays, live in-game wagers and multisport parlays on a single ticket.

Officials said the machines are intended to speed transactions, reduce retailer workload during peak times and give players more convenience and choice.

“As sports betting continues to grow in popularity, these self-service kiosks meet players where they are in terms of fitting wagering into their day as well as their particular preferences for wagering,” Delaware Lottery Director Helene Keeley said.

Key features and consumer tools

  • Quick Picks and a Select-Your-Own-Spread option for more tailored tickets.
  • QR code functionality to check ticket results and view payout or losing selection details.
  • Bet Ahead — build a wager online, receive a six-digit code and finalize the purchase at a kiosk.

The Bet Ahead feature aims to combine online convenience with the in-person experience of printing and paying at the kiosk, a hybrid approach already used in other jurisdictions to accommodate both mobile and retail customers.

Local impact and broader trends

For retailers and casinos, the kiosks represent both an operational change and a potential revenue boost. The Lottery said the machines can relieve employees of high-volume ticketing duties and shorten transactions during busy windows, such as during major sports events. For bettors, the expanded menu of wagers aligns with nationwide trends toward more complex and interactive sports betting products.

A complete list of participating Sports Lottery retailers has been posted on the Delaware Lottery website at delottery.com/sports-lottery/locations, providing shoppers with locations and details about where they can use the new machines.

As sports wagering continues to evolve in Delaware and across the region, the kiosks are an example of how state-run lotteries and private partners are trying to balance convenience, responsible play and operational needs. Customers interested in using the kiosks should consult the Lottery's location list and expect to see these machines operating now at outlets across the state.
