St. Paul police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday in the city's Frogtown neighborhood, leaving one man dead and two others injured, authorities said.

Officers were called to the area near Edmund Avenue West and North Kent Street just before 4:30 a.m. Saturday, where they found an adult male in the street suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Officers began life-saving measures at the scene before the man was taken to a local hospital, where he later died, police said.
Investigators later located a house in the vicinity that had been struck by gunfire. Two additional adults arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds; police say both are expected to survive.
Investigation ongoing, no arrests made
St. Paul police said they are still working to determine what led to the shooting and have not made any arrests. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office will release the identity of the deceased, police added.
