Two people from Rhodes died after a motorcycle crash late Sunday night in Marshall County, authorities said.

Marshall County deputies responded shortly after 9 p.m. to a reported motorcycle crash near the community of Rhodes. Deputies located an unresponsive man several yards from the roadway near a motorcycle. A subsequent search of the immediate area turned up an unresponsive woman.
Victims identified
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office identified the driver as Brandon Overman, 31, of Rhodes. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, Chandler Kendall, 27, also of Rhodes, was flown by air ambulance to a Des Moines hospital and later pronounced dead, according to the sheriff’s office.
