The Southeast Arizona Communications Center received a report from a mandated reporter at a private school on Aug. 6 about suspected child molestation at a residence, according to the Sierra Vista Police Department. Police say the tip was unrelated to any incident on school grounds and did not involve school staff.
Detectives organized forensic interviews with several children who might have had knowledge of the alleged conduct. The following day, investigators said they gathered additional material, including text messages recovered from a victim’s electronic device. Law enforcement obtained a search warrant for a home in Sierra Vista and arrested Damien Stack on the evening of Aug. 7.
