Stamford residents will see Mill River Park transformed into a three-weekend entertainment hub starting July 16, when the second season of Summer in the Park opens with a slate of nationally known performers, cultural festivals and food-focused events.
The event series, supported by Hey Stamford!, Mill River Park, Stamford Downtown and Mohegan Sun Online Casino, runs through late July and into early August. Organizers say ticket sales, VIP packages and onsite activity will benefit area children's organizations.
"proceeds from the event will benefit local children's organizations, funding programs and services for children and families in the community."
