HOUSTON — Two adults were discovered dead from gunshot wounds inside a southeast Houston home early Sunday, and police say they are searching for a suspect who they believe carried out the attack.
Response and scene
Officers were dispatched about 2:20 a.m. to a house in the 12800 block of Glen Hollow Drive after a report of shots fired. When they entered the residence, they located two deceased individuals — a man and a woman — who investigators believe were in their 20s or 30s. Authorities have not released the victims' names.
Investigation details
Houston police said detectives do not think the two victims shot one another and that no firearms were found inside the home. Investigators believe a third party is responsible for the killings and currently remains at large; no suspect description has been released.
Crime Scene Unit personnel remained at the property Sunday morning collecting evidence. Several exterior and interior surveillance cameras were visible at the residence, and detectives said they expect to review that footage as part of the probe.
